This past summer, five students from Chatham High School had the opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C., with the Colonial Dames and participate in a program through the Washington Workshops Foundation.

During their experience, students explored our nation’s capital and gained firsthand insight into government, history, leadership, and civic engagement. They visited significant sites throughout Washington, D.C., while learning about our nation’s history and the many lessons the nation’s capital has to offer.
